Environmental Responsibility
Timber we use for our windows and doors come from well managed, sustainable forests and are specially selected for their high quality and fine grain. They bring natural beauty, energy efficiency, warmth and long durability into your home.
Softwood and Oak
We use European pine as softwood and oak as 1st class hardwood. They come from Polish National Forests.
Logging in Polish National Forests takes place in accordance with international principles: preserving the sustainability of forests, sustainable development and conservation.
This is confirmed by the regional directorates being awarded with relevant certificates.
All our timber comes from FSC certified sources (please, see the Certificate attached). We ourselves are in a process of organising the FSC Chain of Custody certification.
If the environmental issues are not indifferent to you, you should pay attention when choosing the product.
Going for our timber windows and doors means that you care deeply for the forests and the world we live in.
Meranti
We use meranti (Shorea) – 2nd class hardwood which comes from South-East Asia.
Not many windows & doors suppliers in UK can pride themselves on having this timber certified to prove that it comes from sustainable sources as many species of Shorea are under threat of extinction. We are proud to announce that we cooperate only with certified timber suppliers. We have carefully chosen the meranti merchant so our business does not harm the environment and we make sure we do not buy from unethical sources.

You might be surprise to find out that despite 20 years of existence on the UK’s market we have kept such fresh attitude and young spirit. We would like to reassure you though, that during that time we have learnt a great deal and our business wouldn’t be where it is now and still growing if we haven’t excelled in our clients expectations. Therefore, reliability we promise has solid bases.
Dariusz Matyja founded DM Contract Solutions 20 years ago. At the beginning the company was focused mainly on specialized construction services. Although the range of services was limited and experience not as rich as right now, the foundation was laid down on the same core values which remain unchanged today.
Since 2006 we operate as a Limited Liability Company offering much wider range of services.
Since 2009 we offer premium quality windows and doors in timber. On top of that, we are especially proud of undertaking new and unique projects involving bespoke glass and aluminium structures.
From 2010 we widened our windows and doors offer by aluminium products including flat roof skylights.
In 2010 we tightened our business relationships with Wimbledon Builders Merchants, IBB Building Wholesale in Park Royal, A Builders Store in Brentford, DoBuild Direct in Kenley and many more. All retailers have showrooms with a range of our products displayed there.
In 2012 we changed our company’s name to DM Window Solutions.
